This universal sunglasses holder was originally designed for the VW ID.4 center console, but thanks to its flat base and compact footprint it fits many other vehicles with similar console layouts.

Perfect for safely storing large sunglasses, prescription glasses, or multiple pairs, while keeping them easily accessible and protected from scratches.

Key features:

Designed to fit VW ID.4, but works as a universal console tray

Holds large sunglasses (tested with oversized frames)

Central divider keeps glasses separated

Two side compartments for coins, keys, or small items

Low-profile design – does not interfere with driving

Can be lined with neoprene or felt (recommended for premium protection)

Material & quality:

3D printed from ASA plastic

Heat resistant – suitable for hot car interiors

Strong, durable, and UV stable

May show minor 3D printing layer lines (normal for 3D printed parts)

Installation & Mounting

This holder is designed to be fixed in place, not just loosely placed.

Recommended mounting methods:

Double-sided automotive tape (3M VHB) – strongest and cleanest option

Automotive interior adhesive or silicone adhesive

Velcro strips (removable option)

⚠️ Important:
Before mounting, clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol for best adhesion.

Optional Interior Protection

Some users choose to line the inside with thin neoprene or felt to protect lenses from scratches (not included).
