Raydot-Style Round Mirror Mounting Plates for BMW 3 Series E21 – Pair

Mount classic Raydot-style round side mirrors in the factory mirror locations on your BMW E21. Each adapter plate follows the shape of the triangular mounting area at the front corner of the door window, giving the round mirror a base that lines up with the original window trim.

Sold as a pair. Each order contains two physical 3D-printed adapter plates. The round mirrors shown in the photos are not included.

Vehicle and mirror fitment

The plates are designed for the BMW 3 Series E21 with the original triangular door mirror mounting points. On the door side, each plate uses the factory mounting locations and original door-triangle hardware. On the mirror side, the plate provides a mounting surface for a compatible Raydot-style round mirror.

Before ordering, compare your door’s mirror triangle with the installation photo. Also check the bolt spacing on the base of your mirrors against the plate’s mounting points. The round shape of the mirror alone does not establish fitment.

Mounting hardware

  • Each plate uses two threaded heat-set inserts, for a total of four across the pair.

  • The original BMW door-triangle screws secure each plate to the door.

  • Separate bolts secure each mirror base to its adapter plate.

  • RTV silicone can be applied around the perimeter where the plate meets the door triangle to help seal against rain.
