Upgrade the front sound stage of your Jeep TJ with this custom-designed set of 5.25-inch in-dash speaker pods. These pods replace the factory dash speaker mounts and give your Jeep significantly more air volume and depth for clearer mids, stronger output, and an overall richer sound experience.

Designed to maximize internal airspace while maintaining correct dash geometry, these pods accept standard 5.25" speakers, including deeper aftermarket models used by many owners.

✔ Fitment

Based on user installs and confirmed feedback:

Direct Fit:

1997–2000 Jeep TJ (fits both sides with minor trimming depending on model year)

Possible Fit With Modifications:

2001–2002 Jeep TJ — reported interference due to an internal metal support. Some owners trimmed or removed part of the metal frame to install.

1999 and earlier TJs — may require trimming around the headlight switch bracket.

Not Confirmed / Not Recommended Without Fabrication:

Any TJ with additional aftermarket dash reinforcements

✔ Installation Notes

These pods install behind the factory dash grille and use the existing screw points.
General installation steps:

Remove the dash grille and factory speaker mount.

Test-fit the pod in the opening.

Trim small areas of excess metal or plastic only if necessary (varies by year).

Mount your 5.25" speaker inside the pod.

Use CA glue or plastic-safe adhesive to join the front face plate.

Drill a small wire pass-through hole if your speakers require it (many owners did this).

Install the assembled pod into the dash using the original screws.

Some owners added poly-fill inside the pod for improved acoustic behavior (optional).
